Zikr App (iOS) Permissions

These permissions are requested by the Zikr iOS app and follow Apple's privacy guidelines. You can manage permissions from your device Settings app at any time.

• Photo Library Access: Allows you to select wazaif images and visual content from your photo library. The app only accesses photos you explicitly select using the iOS photo picker. Selected content remains on your device.
• Media & Apple Music: Enables you to select audio recitations from your device's music library for playback within the app. Access is limited to files you choose.
• Notifications: Allows the app to send you reminders for prayer times, recitation sessions, and playback controls. You can customize notification preferences in iOS Settings.
• Location Services: Powers the Qibla direction compass feature. Location data is used only to determine compass orientation in real time and is not stored or transmitted. You can grant or deny this permission separately.
• Background Audio: Enables continuous audio playback of dhikr and recitations when the app is in the background or when your device is locked, ensuring uninterrupted spiritual practice.
• Files and Documents: Allows you to import PDF documents and other religious texts into the app from iCloud Drive or other file providers on your device.

All permissions are optional, but certain features (such as media playback, Qibla compass, or importing content) may not function without the relevant permissions. The app follows iOS privacy best practices and only requests permissions when needed for specific features.

iOS-Specific Privacy Features

• App Tracking Transparency: Zikr does not track your activity across other apps and websites. We do not request the App Tracking Transparency permission.
• Privacy Nutrition Labels: Our App Store listing includes Apple's Privacy Nutrition Label showing exactly what data, if any, is collected.
• No Third-Party Analytics: We do not integrate third-party analytics or tracking SDKs in the iOS version of Zikr.
• iCloud Sync (Optional): If you choose to enable iCloud sync for your content, data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
